Quite simply, I wanted to write a road track. I had the word "gasoline" in my head for a while, mostly because of how it flows. It is a rather unusual and long English word. So one day I had a look at my all-time favorite road track to decide the tempo, quickly put together a driving drum pattern, and got the guitar out...

For the three remixes I made a conscious decision to create
a Sonic Sunset inspired house track [take me for a spin],
a (mostly) industrial techno piece [steel machines], and
a sonic landscape trailing off [gently, say good bye].
